POWER COMPUTATION

Each element is characterised by 4 Attributes. The Power computation is given by the formula

R*U/10 where R stands for Rarity Index and U for Coefficient of Uniqueness.

RARITY INDEX

The Rarity Index is calculated by assigning to each Attribute a Rarity Parameter between 0 and 25. The Rarity Parameter is assigned by calculating the number of elements sharing the same Attribute. The Attributes shared by the lowest number of elements have a Parameter equal to 0, while the ones shared by the highest number have a Parameter equal to 25. The Rarity Index is the sum of the Rarity Parameters of the four Attributes, and is therefore included between 0 and 100.

COEFFICIENT OF UNIQUENESS

A matrix of the four Attributes for each element was created, to calculate the Coefficient of Uniqueness. The matrices are compared on the basis of recurrence, attributing the number of elements per matrix.

The Coefficient of Uniqueness is the value assigned to each matrix, proportionally included between 0 and 10. The matrix with the lowest number of elements has U equal to 0, the matrix with the highest number has U equal to 10.
